How to get a non-final family order

Important: Skip to Step 6 if you already have started a family law case by filing a Notice of Family Claim (Form F3) or (before July 1, 2010) a Writ of Summons (Form 127) and Statement of Claim (Form 128) and the required financial documents.

Intro Before you begin your Supreme Court application
Step 1 Prepare the Notice of Family Claim (Form F3)
Step 2 Prepare the financial documents, if applicable
Step 3 File your initial court documents
Step 4 Give the documents to the other party
Step 5 Wait for a response
Step 6 Prepare the court documents
Step 7 Have both parties sign the documents
Step 8 Swear or affirm any affidavits
Step 9 Make copies of the documents
Step 10 File the court documents for your consent application at the court registry
Step 11 Get the signed Consent Order (Form F33) from the court registry
Step 12 Provide the Family Maintenance Enforcement Program with a copy of the Consent Order (Form F33), if necessary
