How to respond to an application for a non-final family order

Intro Before you respond
Step 1 Review the application, figure out your time limits, and prepare to respond
Step 2 Prepare the Response to Family Claim (Form F4) and Counterclaim (Form F5)
Step 3 Prepare the Financial Statement (Form F8)
Step 4 Swear or affirm the Financial Statement (Form F8) and file the court documents
Step 5 Give the documents to the other party
Step 6 Deal with the Judicial Case Conference
Step 7 Prepare the next court documents
Step 8 File the documents and give them to the other party
Step 9 Receive and review further documents
Step 10 Prepare an Application Record, if you want
Step 11 Appear in court
Step 12 Review the non-final family order, sign it, and get a copy of the approved order
Step 13 File the order with the Family Maintenance Enforcement Program, if you want
